Everything you need
at the bench.
I built BenchCalc because I found myself using the same old mass-to-molarity calculator for my tRNA work, and similar old clunky tools for protein calculations. Most lab calculators online are a single tool on a single page, often old HTML that breaks on mobile, sometimes wrong, hard to find when you need them, and liable to disappear overnight. After building my FeeDings! RSS app, I asked why I hadn't made a science one, now I had the skills. So I did. Everything a molecular biologist, biochemist, or biology student might need in one place. Then I added BenchGuide, which has protocols, games, a glossary, references and databases and an interactive troubleshooting system. I'm not done yet.
Science Games
7 science mini-games in BenchGuide. Speed runs for codons, amino acids, chemical formulas, and restriction sites. Nucleotide Memory with four difficulty modes. Restriction Site Snap with expedition and multi-strand modes. Science quiz with 75 questions across 5 topics. Leaderboards with gold, silver, and bronze.
